Privacy notice
Slow Hours does not run advertising, does not sell reader data, and collects the smallest amount of information it can while still delivering the newsletter.
What is collected
- Your email address, when you subscribe, so that a Sunday letter can be sent to you.
- Basic delivery information from the email provider (was the letter delivered, did it bounce). This is aggregated and used to keep the sender reputation clean.
- Server access logs for the website (IP address, page requested, timestamp), retained for 30 days for security and abuse monitoring, then discarded.
What is not collected
- Tracking pixels inside emails. Letters are plain text; there is no "read receipt" beacon.
- Third-party analytics or ad networks. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no Hotjar, nothing.
- Cookies of any kind on the website. If your browser reports one, it is your browser being wrong.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, using the link at the bottom of every letter. If you would like your email address deleted from the archive as well, write to hello [at] slowhours.space and it will be removed within seven days.
This site is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, children under 16.
Changes to this notice
If any of the above changes, the change will be noted at the top of this page, with the date on which it took effect. The last update was made on 1 April 2026.
